The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing education programs to enhance the clinical competence of staff. The role requires a collaborative approach, working with key stakeholders to ensure all staff have access to equitable educational support and resources.
- In this position, you will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate education programs to meet the needs of staff working within clinical environments.
- You will work closely with nursing unit managers, stream manager, and nurse manager for education to ensure the effective delivery of education programs.
- This role is critical in ensuring evidence-based practice principles are utilised in the development of curriculum, programs, policies, and procedures within the clinical environment and broader organisation.
- To be considered for this role, you must be currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- You will need relevant postgraduate education qualifications or relevant postgraduate clinical qualifications with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards).
- A comprehensive understanding of clinical knowledge and experience in an acute care facility within the Perioperative environment is essential.
- The ideal candidate will be able to integrate theoretical knowledge and clinical skills and develop, implement, and evaluate education programs using innovative educational strategies, tools, and approaches, including e-learning.
- You will be required to work autonomously and collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development is highly valued.
