Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Education Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of exceptional care and support services.

In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with our residential facilities and home care services to promote contemporary practices, quality governance, and clinical education. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving excellence across our organization, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and industry standards.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position based at our head office, working closely with our North West Region facilities. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing quality, clinical governance, and clinical education support to residential facilities or home care services
  • Promoting contemporary practices across Residential facilities or Home Care services to support adherence with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, legislation and accepted industry practices
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the organisation quality management system
  • Respond to the clinical care and educational needs of Residential facilities or Home Care services as directed by, and in consultation with the Quality Support Team, Regional / Operational Manager and/or GM Care Operations
Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Current Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) or Enrolled Nurse General with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency
  • Current driver's license
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE40110) or willing to complete same
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development
  • Minimum of three (3) years post registration / enrolment clinical experience
