Role Overview

Tyro Payments Limited is a leading provider of payments and core banking services to Australian businesses. We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Team Member to join our team, providing exceptional customer service and support for our EFTPOS, Banking, and eCommerce customers.

Job Summary

This role will see you working closely with our customers, resolving their queries and issues in a timely and efficient manner. You'll provide first-level technical and account support, educating customers on our products and services, and troubleshooting any issues regarding terminals and eCommerce enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Retail, Hospitality, or Contact Centre, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. You'll be an infectiously upbeat attitude and a bubbly personality, with a passion for customer experience and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support over the phone and via email
  • Educate customers on our products and services
  • Troubleshoot issues regarding terminals and eCommerce enquiries
  • Guide customers through the EFTPOS activation process
  • Resolve complaints through effective communication skills and escalate to team lead when needed
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to identify or create innovative solutions
  • Record detailed and accurate notes of merchant enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Retail, Hospitality, or Contact Centre
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Infectiously upbeat attitude and a bubbly personality
