Job Title: Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Coordinator to provide technical supervision of technicians engaged on Pilbara operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed professionally and timely, while also developing business opportunities and working closely with the Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers and senior technicians to establish cost-effective scopes of work for jobs
  • Quoting to customers for potential jobs
  • Working with the FIFO (Admin) scheduler to ensure all resource movements are on schedule
  • Visiting customers regularly throughout the region to develop business opportunities
  • Jointly accountable for business development in conjunction with the branch Business Development Manager
  • Serving customers by studying system requirements and developing proactive responses
  • Liaising with technicians to ensure work is completed professionally and timely
  • Working closely with the Business Development manager in networking with customers and prospects
  • Ordering components, installation, performing tests, identifying repairs, and sales opportunities
  • Documenting service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
  • Accurate completion of service documentation including having Service Reports signed by the customer
  • Maintaining and keeping records of tools and tool kits in workshop and service vehicles
  • Ensuring quality control through documenting of tests and installations

Requirements:

  • Mechanical fitter trade or equivalent
  • 5 years field service or hydraulic system experience
  • Familiar with Pilbara mine site environment's or similar
  • Competent level of hydraulic knowledge
  • High focus on Quality and attention to detail
  • Dynamic performer and achiever
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Effective communication skills
