Chief Cloud Strategist

This role is a pivotal part of our cloud-first strategy, offering the opportunity to drive cost optimisation across our multi-cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities- Solution Architecture: Define current, transition, and target state solution architectures aligned with domain and group strategy.
- Design Leadership: Provide design leadership, ensuring solutions are reusable, scalable, secure, and implementable.
- Fin Ops Tooling: Evaluate Fin Ops tooling and lead the implementation of a modern, efficient stack.
- Process Modernisation: Identify and modernise inefficient Fin Ops processes, driving documentation, best practices, and cost-conscious workflows.
- Culture Development: Provide technical leadership and influence stakeholders to embed a culture of cloud cost optimisation across the organisation.
- A minimum of 5 years IT experience, including 3 years in IT Architecture or Design.
- Hands-on cloud solution architecture experience, including AWS and/or Azure.
- Exposure to Fin Ops practices and cloud cost optimisation.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and change.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies (desired), and background in insurance or financial services (desired).
