About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to join the Category Team at Blackwoods as a Product Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the Hydraulic components and Industrial Hosing categories, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Leadership: Oversee the Hydraulic components and Industrial Hosing categories, developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with external and internal stakeholders to promote the category plan and ensure a value-add approach in connecting customers to Blackwoods.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to understand domestic market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Product Development: Develop opportunities to grow market share with the sales team and foster relationships with Australian suppliers to manage expectations.
  • Category Management: Act as the SME for the category, providing technical expertise when required, and lead tenders for products under management.
  • Pricing and Negotiation: Conduct pricing negotiations on existing and new products to support the category strategy.
  • Customer Engagement: Connect with customers to provide solutions and identify avenues for further value-add initiatives.
