Operational Transformation Lead

We are seeking an experienced operational transformation leader to spearhead the development and delivery of change plans and operational deliverables that support our response to the decommissioning of the Bulk Electronic Clearing System (BECS).

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organisation committed to promoting the economic welfare of the Australian people.

  • Provide end-to-end operational transformation services to the BECS Transition Program and business-as-usual (BAU) Banking team.
  • Work effectively to ensure the seamless operational transition of responsibilities between the Program and BAU Banking team.
  • Manage internal and external relationships, communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare materials to build awareness and understanding of new ways of working for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the program team and the Banking department to ensure industry and regulatory requirements are met.

Your Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience leading organisations through transformative change.
  • At least 10 years' experience working in critical operational industries.
  • Substantial stakeholder engagement experience dealing with senior business and IT executives and external customers.
  • The ability to independently identify, analyse and solve complex problems using a logical approach.
  • Ability to manage competing demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and own operational transformation strategies.
