Seeking Experienced Rheumatologist

We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant Rheumatologist to join our progressive teaching hospital in Northern Tasmania.

The Role:

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient services across Northern Tasmania, including leading specialist rheumatology clinics and coordinating patient care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  • Mentor and supervise postgraduate trainees, and contribute to medical student teaching through the University of Tasmania.
  • Contribute to departmental research, clinical governance, and service development initiatives.

This is an opportunity to combine specialist practice with leadership in service design and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent recognised overseas specialist qualification.
  • Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical service delivery, teaching, and research within Rheumatology.
