Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our environmental due diligence and permitting efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. As an Environmental Permitting Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our sites are compliant with all relevant regulations and laws.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in environmental technical resources, management, or program specialization. A proven track record of managing contaminated site redevelopment, contractual, regulatory, and liability assessments is essential.

You will work closely with our APAC Infrastructure-Development team to develop and implement effective environmental strategies, collaborating with key teams such as Real Estate, Risk/Due Diligence, Design Engineering, and Legal.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Environmental Due Diligence (Contaminated Site Management, Remediation, Initial Environmental Risk Analysis, Site Screening, Site Approvals)
  2. Environmental Permitting (Air Permits, EIAs, Natural and Cultural Heritage Assessments)
  3. Regulatory and Agency Engagement
  4. Regulatory Analysis and Assessment (Environmental Legislation and Policy)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in environmental engineering or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in environmental technical resources, management, or program specialization
  • Proven track record of managing contaminated site redevelopment, contractual, regulatory, and liability assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems
