Our winery in McLaren Vale is one of the oldest and most respected in the region, with a rich history of producing iconic wines. We are currently looking to fill multiple Cellar Hand roles on a seasonal casual basis to support our winemaking operations.
Key Responsibilities:Our Cellar Hands will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Undertaking cellar operations, including grape receival, crushing, fermentation activities, barrel work, and juice/wine transfers
- Recording data on log sheets and cellar notes
- Maintaining general winery cleanliness and hygiene
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Full working rights – visa holders included
- Good communication and literacy skills
- Ability to work rotating shift work, including weekends
- Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks and work in confined spaces
Desirable skills include previous wine industry experience, a forklift license, and a confined space ticket.
