Job Description

The role involves delivering industry-standard training and assessment in Overhead Distribution (UET30621) and Underground Distribution (UET30821) for the Electrical Supply Industry at our Drummond Street location. You will oversee the learning journey of apprentices and current workers, employing diverse teaching and assessment strategies tailored to their varied learning needs.

In this role, you will contribute to the validation and continuous enhancement of learning and assessment tools to support effective program delivery. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding learners through their training and assessment journey.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Demonstrated experience as a trainer of ESI and VESI programs
  • Current Electrical Supply Industry skills, lines worker registration with Energy Safe Victoria, and relevant underground cable jointer qualification (for UET30821)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE 40122 or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications
  • Ability to function autonomously, work independently and/or coordinate work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills essential for effective teaching
