Technical Solutions Expert

This role involves working with major accounts to develop and implement strategic plans for the deployment of security solutions.
You will be responsible for managing and directing engineering teams on key projects and opportunities in your assigned region.
Developing relationships with executive buyers and influencers is also a key aspect of this role, as well as coordinating with internal groups to deliver winning contract bids and proposals.
As a Consulting Systems Engineer, you will serve as a technical expert on Fortinet's core technology products, including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Extensive experience in technical/pre-sales support as a Sales/Systems Engineer or Consultant.
- Able to balance technical and business requirements.
- Deep understanding of Fortinet products: FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
- Good understanding of 4G mobile network architecture and security challenges.
- Experience in 4G Mobile Network Security solutions.
- Good understanding of 5G mobile network architecture and security challenges.
- Knowledge in 5G Mobile Network Security solutions.
- Experience in delivering Software Defined Architecture solutions.
- Experience in private and public cloud technologies and architectures.
- Understanding of cloud native security and networking solutions.
- Understanding of at least one major cloud provider IaaS services.
- Understanding of competitive SaaS offering in Cloud Workload protection and posture management.
- Understanding of industry performance testing technology and methodology.
- Understanding of virtualisation and SDN.
- Understanding of data centre architectures.
- Knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, EVPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and antivirus.
- Strong understanding of essential IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
