Job Title: Senior Manager, Indigenous Health Strategy

The Senior Manager, Indigenous Health Strategy will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination and collaboration across all tiers of government to enhance the delivery of Indigenous health and wellbeing priorities.

\

This role involves building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Indigenous governance forums, Divisional offices, government agencies, health services, and the Aboriginal community-controlled sector. The successful applicant will also have an opportunity to develop partnerships with various program and policy areas within the Department.

\

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional leadership and people management skills, as well as the ability to influence others to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the Victorian health workforce.

\

We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about improving health outcomes for Victorians and has a strong understanding of the Victorian health system.

\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in coaching, developing, and managing a team.
  • Proven ability to operate in accordance with delegated authority, consistent with departmental and government policies.
  • Strong critical analysis and reporting skills, high attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and experience in managing stakeholder relationships.
