Job Opportunity: Health Promotion Manager for Indigenous Programs

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Health Promotion Manager for Indigenous Programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote health and wellbeing among Indigenous Victorians. They will work closely with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers, to address the unique health needs of Indigenous communities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving health outcomes and reducing health disparities among Indigenous populations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Indigenous health, a strong understanding of the social determinants of health, and excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health promotion programs that target Indigenous communities
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to build partnerships and collaborations
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on program progress and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to Indigenous health

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. public health, health promotion, Indigenous studies)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in Indigenous health or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the social determinants of health and their impact on Indigenous communities
  • Excellent communication and project management skills

Benefits:
