Early Childhood Educator Role at Day One Learning Centres

We are a small, 3-room service with a capacity for 47 children. Our work culture is fantastic, and we have amazing families. This position can be full-time or part-time hours.
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and education to children in a safe and nurturing environment.
The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities
- Creating a safe and welcoming environment for children and families
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Observing and documenting children's learning and development
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Supporting children's emotional, social, and cognitive development
Required qualifications include:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Working with Children Check
- A strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
Our centres provide exceptional care and education for every family in a safe, creative, and fun environment. We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
