We are seeking a dedicated and organized Perishable Goods Coordinator to join our team at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of perishable goods from clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process orders for the transportation of perishable goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Arrange transportation with carriers, airlines, or shipping lines, negotiating rates to optimize cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines concerning the transportation of perishable goods, including temperature control requirements, safety standards, and documentation.
  • Prepare and review all necessary shipping and customs documentation, such as airway bills, bills of lading, certificates, permits, and licenses.
  • Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing perishable goods to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and address any concerns or queries.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with perishable shipments and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions to optimize the perishable logistics operation.

Requirements

  • 4 Years Experience in a similar role within the industry.
  • Amazing communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to details.
