The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Dangerous Goods Transport Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company and play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of dangerous goods across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate the movement of specialized fleet in line with fatigue management requirements.
  • Manage site levels and daily usage in accordance with minops requirements.
  • Manage load request times and communicate with DG customers in a responsive and professional manner.
  • Liaise with our fleet maintenance department to ensure effective planning of scheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure safe, cost-effective, and reliable distribution of bulk DG products.
  • Capture and analyze data and relevant safety statistics for client KPIs.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous scheduling experience, with a strong background in the dangerous goods sector.
  • A current driver's license and a strong understanding of fatigue management principles.
  • Highly developed organizational, planning, and computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast-paced team.
