Job Opportunities for Structural Engineers

Experienced structural engineers are required to provide analysis and design services for a range of projects.

  • Structural engineering analysis and design for foundation, concrete and steel structures will be provided by the successful candidate.
  • Engineering calculations, technical specifications and scopes of work will be prepared, reviewed and checked.
  • Clients will be worked with throughout the project lifecycle to deliver value within project performance criteria.
  • Engineers and draftspersons will be coached and mentored during the design and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Technical solutions delivered during the study and design phases will ensure compliance with design review processes and design quality requirements.
  • The progress and performance of project design teams will be monitored and input and feedback provided where necessary.

This is an opportunity for experienced professionals who are leaders in their field. The successful candidate will be part of a team of technical experts.

Requirements
  • A qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering is essential.
  • Minimum 3 years post graduate experience in structural design, particularly in steel and concrete structures for mineral processing plants and/or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing client interaction on design and drafting issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of engineering designs and calculations.
  • Solid work experience with engineering consultancies that specialise in minerals processing.
