Climate Model Research Scientist

This position involves working on the development of an artificial intelligence-based foundation model toolbox that utilizes a wide range of historical, global and regional weather and climate data.
The initial focus will be on testing the toolbox for its application in assessing climate risks to agriculture across the Asia-Pacific region. However, there are opportunities to explore other climate-related impacts within this project.
As part of this team, you will be contributing to a collaborative effort led by prominent researchers in the field, including Professors Andy Pitman and Scott Sisson, alongside Dr Anna Ukkola, Elizabeth Vogel, Sanaa Hobeichi and Doug Richardson.
To excel in this role, you will require strong skills in data analysis, programming languages such as Python, and experience with machine learning techniques. Additionally, proficiency in communication is crucial for collaboration and disseminating results effectively.
