Daily Responsibilities

As a Specialty Sales Executive Team Leader, your daily tasks may include:

  • Driving overall store sales and understanding your impact on profitability.
  • Fostering a guest-centric culture and guiding your team to meet sales objectives.
  • Creating and adjusting schedules based on guest traffic and business demands.
  • Overseeing merchandising and pricing activities, including transitions and promotions.
  • Monitoring competitors and utilizing guest feedback to enhance business performance.
  • Working flexible hours to align with guest and business needs.
  • Building a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team in Apparel & Accessories, Beauty, and Electronics.
  • Implementing effective sales training techniques for team development.
  • Managing backroom processes and ensuring product availability for guests.
  • Leading visual merchandising efforts in key departments.
  • Ensuring fitting rooms enhance the shopping experience.
  • Planning and executing operational changes effectively.
  • Identifying shifts in store trends and staffing needs.
  • Coaching team members to elevate their skills and expertise.
  • Establishing accountability through clear expectations and performance metrics.
  • Delivering exceptional service and shopping experiences for guests.
  • Upholding a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Access all areas of the building to address guest or team member concerns.
  • Interpret various forms of information and reports.
  • Handle merchandise efficiently, including lifting items up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
  • Accurately perform cash register operations.
  • Climb ladders as needed.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
