About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a PLM Project Lead to join our business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading Product Design & Lifecycle (PLM) capabilities.

This is a new role responsible for a Product Team delivering services for the Maritime business unit. You will report to the Business Systems Manager - Maritime and work closely with stakeholders (AU/UK).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage services within Governance & Change Management frameworks
  • Provide Leadership to the Product Lifecycle Management Product Team
  • Partner with business stakeholders (AU/UK) and the architecture team, ensuring the product(s) remain fit for purpose, aligning to the strategy and capability roadmaps
  • Lead Service Delivery to provide our Maritime customer a service that exceeds expectations, working with the team to ensure service standards are implemented, incidents, service requests, & problems are managed through to closure
  • Working with the PLM Delivery Lead, Partner with stakeholders (AU/UK) to plan and deliver activities within agreed schedules
  • Working with the PLM Operations Lead, lead Operational activities with the team ensuring services are appropriately patched, upgraded, available, supportable and cyber secure
  • Taking Ownership of the product(s), driving continuous improvement, oversight of financials, and representing the Maritime IM&T function for all matters PLM

About You

  • Experience in stakeholder management, product strategy and product development
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team and end-to-end product delivery cycles
  • Conceptual knowledge of PLM, CAD/CAE/CAM toolsets and integrations
  • Experience working in scrum teams and managing a pipeline of work
  • Ability to think critically, drive continuous improvement and think ahead
