Senior Business Analyst

Overview

Senior Business Analyst (fixed term contract) role at ResMed. The position resides within Global Technology Solutions (GTS) and supports digital transformation in the Product Lifecycle Management space across Product Development and Quality Assurance.

What You'll Do

• Lead the analysis and re-engineering of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes within regulated product development and quality assurance environments, ensuring alignment with ISO 13485, FDA and EU MDR compliance requirements.
• Partner with key business stakeholders across Product Development, Supply Chain & Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to define business problems and use cases. Serve as a thought leader for business processes, promoting efficiency and productivity.
• Analyze and document current and future state business processes for PLM. Gather and document business requirements and functional specifications for solution development.
• Define and prioritize user stories, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with GTS Service Designers and Architects to facilitate ideation and solution design workshops.
• Support the delivery of technology solutions, ensuring effective implementation and real business value.
• Identify risks associated with technology and operational change and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure full requirements traceability with documented evidence for each release.
• Champion user-centric design principles in delivering PLM-related system interfaces, ensuring usability and adoption in high-compliance manufacturing and quality operations.
• Collaborate with external technology vendors, system integrators, and validation consultants to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions and adherence to software validation protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years delivery experience of medium to large and complex technology application implementations across business process analysis, requirements analysis and solution design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient domain knowledge in Product Development processes.
• Strong influencing and decision-making skills, with ability to work with stakeholders at all levels from both business and technology domains.
• Able to grasp and adapt to new industry trends that can lead to new business opportunities and system innovations.
• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to the targeted audience.
• Highly self-motivated with demonstrated initiative and ownership.
• Strong skills in business process mapping and workshop facilitation.
• Ability to identify and document business and process requirements.
• Experience with user story decomposition, mapping and documentation.
• Proven experience in Agile environments and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency in solving unique and complex problems with broad business impact.

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and technologies used in Supply Chain and Manufacturing, such as ERP systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems and data analytics platforms.
• Experience working in extensive, multi-layered organizations and cross-functional, complex environments.
• Familiar with BPMN.
