Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of legal needs and provide paralegal support to lawyers.

  • Providing administrative services to the legal team

  • Dealing with urgent matters in the absence of lawyer and Corporate Counsel

  • Preparing reports, correspondence, memorandums to Corporate Counsel and senior staff

  • Researching, complying and keeping up to date with relevant legislation applicable to the performance of duties

  • Assisting in the provision of legal services including legal research, drafting and related activities

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Legal Services

  • Experience in using computer applications MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality while meeting strict deadlines

  • Understanding and commitment to ethical practice

  • Significant professional administrative experience (minimum 8 years)

  • Experience using PEXA's online electronic lodgement network
