**Your new role**
As a Paralegal in the Work Dynamics business unit, you will serve as an instrumental link between our organisation, client stakeholders, and external legal providers. You will coordinate the negotiation and execution of lease documents for a national ATM and branch network while ensuring the timely turnaround of lease documentation and managing associated risks.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Taking charge of managing, supporting, and ensuring compliance
- Overseeing high-risk and critical project instructions while handling tasks requiring senior involvement
- Undertaking responsibilities in completing legal documentation including instructing, negotiating, certifying, and executing documents for leasing transactions
- Complying with processes and policies related to negotiations, documents, and client requirements
- Assisting in managing the cost of legal negotiations in line with fixed fee scope
- Updating and maintaining the online paralegal database, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness
- Encouraging a culture of innovation and facilitating the implementation of process improvements
- Assisting the Director with other tasks as required
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Legal or property qualifications and/or experience within a firm or retail ‘landlord/tenant’ organisation
- Demonstrated understanding of leases or contracts
- Proven managerial experience of at least two years
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to operate efficiently and prioritise work within tight, operational and financial deadlines
- Capacity and adaptability to embrace, support, and manage change
- Good interpersonal and management skills
