About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Sydney-based team, specializing in Risk Consulting for the higher education sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise and passion for the public sector to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Risk Consulting team within a professional services environment or internal audit team within the higher education and public sector space. They will be responsible for:

  • Building successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive sustainable commercial outcomes.
  • Leading collaborative risk consulting / internal audit teams on various engagements, effectively communicating outcomes and recommendations to clients.
  • Cultivating a culture of collaboration and inclusion by coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Identifying business development opportunities that add value to clients' businesses, working closely with internal teams and clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • A proven track record of working in a Risk / Consulting team within a professional services environment or internal audit team within the higher education and public sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and provide expert advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and consultative approach to working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional qualifications, such as CA or equivalent.
