About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing credit risk strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the company's assets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the risk analytics team to create and implement strategies that expand the loan portfolio while managing losses.
  • Develop and maintain reports on key risk metrics, concentrations, and stratifications of the loan portfolio.
  • Anticipate regulatory risk by regularly monitoring the regulatory landscape.
  • Prepare ad-hoc risk management reports as assigned.
  • Prepare industry analysis as well as annual and interim credit reports.
  • Proactively monitor and identify changes within key metrics and trends diagnosing problems and identifying opportunities for improvements and corrections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or similar quantitative field of study.
  • 2-3 years of experience in credit analysis.
  • Familiarity with credit policies and standards as well as relevant regulations and compliance issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analysis on substantial data sets within SQL, SAS, Python, Excel, or similar analytics.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills for effective presentations and working relationships with all levels of management across various departments.
Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year.
