Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our organization.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical abilities, including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems. They will be responsible for providing timely and accurate assistance to end-users within the organization's desktop computing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage IT-related activities and tasks.
  • Provide onsite/on-call support to end-users with various technologies and services.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of computer hardware and software issues.
  • Install and configure new hardware and software as needed.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet or exceed expectations in high-profile situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced technical abilities, including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems.
  • Excellent customer service and people skills.
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure support, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Apple OS, and SCCM.
  • At least two of the following certifications: PC Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
