About the Role

Our company seeks a skilled Desktop Support Officer to work part-time in Rockhampton, Queensland. This position requires assistance with desktop computing environments, including troubleshooting and providing timely support.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating activities, performing hardware and software installations, and handling various technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be highly organized, and have excellent customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot computer OS/peripherals issues
  • Support different PC operating systems (Windows 7/8 and 10)
  • Install hardware and software, using deployment tools like SCCM
  • Manage SOE and group policies
  • Provide printer support
  • Install and troubleshoot MS Office tools
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least two years of experience in a similar position
  • A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and services
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and PC/laptop hardware
