About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Demi Chef to join our culinary team at The Star Sydney. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for executing events with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute allocated work-stations with efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with senior kitchen team members to ensure seamless event execution
  • Provide input on stock requirements to management
  • Conduct on-the-job training and mentoring for junior team members
Requirements
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Full work rights and availability to work across a 7-day roster
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment (highly regarded)
  • Ability to coordinate and work effectively as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new cuisines and techniques
