Sales Representative Role Overview

This permanent, full-time position is based in Launceston, where you will drive new business growth and expand JJ's Waste & Recycling presence in the region.

Your main responsibility will be to develop and nurture existing customer relationships through systematic visits and interactions, meeting and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) each week.

You will have the opportunity to learn quickly and demonstrate your willingness to undertake any task at hand, showcasing excellent problem-solving and time management skills, as well as high-level customer service expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pursue new business opportunities in a structured and focused manner.
  • Nurture existing customers through regular cycle visits and interactions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs each week.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and suggest solutions for enhancement.
Requirements
  • Be driven and ambitious by nature, with a passion for winning new business and nurturing customers.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Enjoy meeting people and possess a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Previous face-to-face selling experience is highly regarded.
  • Be motivated and enjoy working autonomously, while also being part of a larger team.
  • Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence and own a roadworthy vehicle.
  • Demonstrate dedication and reliability, as we operate in an essential services industry.
  • Commit to JJ's Waste values and have well-developed people and relationship skills.
