Health and Safety Professional Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety professional to join our high-rise residential construction project in Brisbane. As a passionate advocate for health, safety, and environmental awareness, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe working environment at our sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To implement and monitor company health, safety, and environmental policies ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • To conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to effectively manage potential safety hazards.
  • To develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and initiatives.
  • To collaborate with project managers and other construction staff to promote and integrate safety measures.
  • To organize and lead safety training sessions for site personnel.
  • To prepare and maintain reports on accidents and violations and determine their causes recommending preventive measures.
  • To stay updated with all applicable HSE regulations and ensure all aspects of site operations adhere to legal standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HSE Officer in the high-rise residential construction industry.
  • Strong leadership communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certification in occupational health and safety is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or a related field.
