As an HSE Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a workplace culture that prioritises well-being and environmental responsibility.

This is your chance.As a key member of our HSE team, you'll:Champion a proactive HSE culture by providing expert guidance and support to people, project managers, and workers.Implement and monitor critical HSE controls, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.Lead risk assessments and emergency response processes, safeguarding our people and the environment.Analyse incidents and non-conformities, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Curate and share HSE knowledge, keeping teams informed and empowered with the latest insights.Support injury and claims management, contributing to a holistic approach to health and safety.Please note that this is a part-time role that offers the flexibility of 3 days a week or 22.5 hours per week, starting in late July or August 2025.About youWe're looking for someone who brings:Experience in HSE or a similar risk-focused role, ideally within a comparable industry.Experience in managing Workcover claimsStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Teamwork and relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.Technical HSE expertise, including training, auditing, and investigation capabilities.Knowledge of WSP's HSE systems and business processes, or a willingness to learn.Qualifications:Cert IV or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.Return to Work Coordinator certification (desirable).
