Senior Associate, Corporate Structured and Asset Finance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our leading Band 1 Corporate Structured and Asset Finance team based in Sydney.
In this role, you will work with leading Partners John Angus and Steven Catanzariti, as well has having the opportunity to work with other HSF finance partners in Australia.
As a key member of our team, you will benefit from premium exposure advising on transactions in all sectors of the structured finance, asset finance, and corporate financing transactions. You will advise on both domestic and cross-border transactions including all types of debt, lease, and capital markets-driven products, securitisations, receivables financings, vendor programs, and retail finance, including in the private capital and energy transition spaces.
You will gain excellent client exposure and opportunities to develop a network of relationships. You will benefit from exceptional learning opportunities working in a team of highly ambitious and talented professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrable experience in delivering technical advice on a range of finance transactions (asset and/or structured finance experience preferred but not essential) from a top-tier, national or international private practice environment.
- An excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset.
- A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team.
- An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team.

What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at AUD $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
