Sales and Distribution Leader

The Sales and Distribution Leader plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing a team of Account Managers and Sales Analysts to achieve exceptional results.
About the RoleThis critical position involves leading a high-performing team to consistently meet and exceed budgeted sales targets, client retention, new client referrals, profit improvement, cross-sell and up-sell, and growth initiatives above organic growth for all clients across all distribution markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a productive and sales-driven team environment while fostering commitment to the Allianz People Attributes.
Main Responsibilities- Financial Management: Oversee management, allocation, and monitoring of all sales budgets per sales manager, expense budget management, and setting, invoicing and payment of expenses, price rise management per client, sales vs budget management, sales and profit rectification plans vs budget, sales YTD forecasting and future analysis against budget, and profit targets and management of teams tasks to improve profit by client.
- Business Results: Analyse mistakes, conduct research to identify root causes of complex problems, implement appropriate solutions, demonstrate courage in decision making, tackle tough issues, seek opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the business, and make difficult decisions when people, businesses, or initiatives are underperforming.
- Leadership and Supervision: Lead team to exceed Sales targets, hold team accountable for meeting goals within defined limits, have a clear view of how different capabilities of team members work together and leverage them to contribute to overall team development, lead a high-performing team and culture that celebrates success, and ensure staff learning and development requirements are met in line with operational and human resource strategy.
- Sales and Client Management: Develop a sustainable sales and growth strategy to meet revenue, profit, and strategic business requirements, engage in leading-edge partnerships to grow Allianz Partners' profitable market share through the strategic development of the Assistance product and service offering, maximise revenue and operating profit for each client, and oversee the development and implementation of detailed client planning processes.
- Reporting: Ensure agreed deadlines are adhered to at all times for reporting for partners and internal stakeholders and oversee the preparation of product presentations, proposals, and reports in line with Allianz Partners branding guidelines.

The ideal candidate should possess tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or related disciplines, proven success in leading large teams, experience in successfully implementing process and people changes, and demonstrated evidence of the development and implementation of sales and distribution plans.
