About the Project:
The Central Package of the North East Link project, Victoria's largest infrastructure project, has selected a consortium to deliver twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges.
The consortium comprises Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering and Construction, and China Construction Oceania.
As part of this project, you will lead the successful delivery of the Motor Control Centre (MCC) and South Vent buildings.
- Manage the construction, commissioning, completion, and occupancy of the MCC Building.
- Manage the construction, commissioning, and completion of the Southern Vent Building.
- Oversee building permit and regulatory compliance processes.
- Ensure practices comply with permit conditions and manage building permits across the project.
- Align design development with construction deliverables.
- Provide safety leadership throughout all construction stages.
- Allocate resources to deliver within budget, schedule, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Manage stakeholder interfaces and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction activities, adopting appropriate methods for the project.
Key Responsibilities include:
You will report directly to the Project Construction Director - South.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing multidisciplinary civil/building sites.
- Developing and mentoring staff, leading teams of 40+ personnel.
- Delivering large-scale civil and commercial construction projects.
- Managing risk assessment expertise in safety, environment, and quality management.
