About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fertiliser Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and operate a site for the reception, maintenance and outloading of fertiliser.

The successful candidate will focus on quality assurance, task assignment and recommending improvements to operating processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and store fertiliser in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assign tasks to staff to ensure adherence to required standards and compliance.
  • Ensure optimum utilisation of data input into systems.
  • Inform transporters of operating procedures.
  • Raise and resolve maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Ensure appropriate safety procedures/standards are adhered to for all site functions.
  • Act as an interface between growers, suppliers and logistics providers.
  • Support internal/external audit requirements and compliance tasks.
  • Ensure equipment and tools are available and maintained in serviceable and calibrated condition.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience in storage and handling of bulk products.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes including import and shipping.
  • A Front-End Loader ticket is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety awareness.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft suite of products and data entry.
  • Goods receivable/stocktake experience.
  • Experience in IBIS, SAP and CRM are desirable but not essential.
