Senior Procurement Officer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced procurement professional to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of procurement principles, policies, and frameworks to work on high-profile projects.

The role will provide expert advice and assurance on procurement and contract processes, including the development and review of procurement plans, tender documentation, panel arrangements, evaluations, negotiations, probity matters, contracts, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on procurement and contract processes;
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, stakeholders, and external entities to achieve strategic objectives;
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, processes, and procedures in consultation with key stakeholders;

You will have a proven track record of delivering end-to-end procurement services that include reviewing and providing constructive advice on procurement plans, approval minutes, contracts, and evaluation reports.

Able to effectively manage multiple priorities and strategic directions, including allocating work and ensuring timely delivery.

Leading, mentoring, and developing a team across multiple priorities to achieve results.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement, including procurement planning, tendering, contract management, and relationship building;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, allocate work, and ensure timely delivery;
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing a team;
