Venue Management Specialist

Summary: The ideal candidate will provide expert venue management, exceptional customer service, and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process bookings for internal and external clients, ensuring seamless experiences.
  • Evaluate event applications, assessing suitability, risk management, and required support services.
  • Coordinate space preparations to meet client requirements, guaranteeing a smooth workflow.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for space bookings, providing accurate and timely advice.
  • Manage inquiries with professionalism and a customer-centric approach.
  • Address client concerns proactively, escalate recurrent issues, and encourage feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Handle client invoices, journal transfers, and fee waiver requests efficiently.
  • Maintain data accuracy, document processes, and produce periodic reports.
  • Create user guides to streamline team processes and ensure compliance.
About You:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong administrative and systems experience, preferably in events, banking, or sales.
  • Excellent customer service and engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage corporate events, workshops, conferences, and single-day events.
  • Technical proficiency, with experience using platforms like ServiceNow.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent training and experience.
  • Background in event coordination or related industries.
