Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional professional to fill the role of Disability Support Worker. Our goal is to provide top-notch support services that empower individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Promote independence and assist individuals with daily routines such as household chores, personal care, meal preparation, and skill-building exercises.
  • Implement tailored plans and employ a trauma-informed approach.
  • Support individuals to community events, appointments, and social outings.
  • Administer medication (training provided).
  • Write detailed shift notes (training provided).
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant certificate, diploma, or bachelor's degree in disability support, or be pursuing relevant qualifications. OR Have at least 3 months' experience in supporting individuals with disabilities.
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
  • NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • National Police Check within the last 12 months.
  • A valid drivers' licence and own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
