About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Penrith, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. This is a unique chance to develop your skills and expertise while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor new graduates and early practitioners in Behaviour Support, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Conduct assessments and design therapy plans that are tailored to the needs of diverse participants, taking into account their individual goals and circumstances.
  • Build strong relationships with participants and their families, celebrating milestones and achievements along the way.
  • Work in a variety of settings, including community visits, day centers, and parks, using your creativity and resourcefulness to deliver effective interventions.
  • Manage a caseload of participant-related tasks, working efficiently and effectively within a supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of Proficient registration with the NDIS.
  • Alignment with our core values, including being a 'people person' who values meaningful interactions and is committed to making a difference.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle for travel between offices and community visits.
  • Relevant employment checks, including police checks and other necessary clearances.
