System Architect Technician

We are seeking a skilled System Architect Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and defining system architecture for new or existing computer systems.

  • The successful candidate will maintain an organization's computer systems' workflows, ensuring the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software.
  • They will provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
  • The Systems Architect Technician will troubleshoot moderately complex system hardware and software issues, train end users on the proper use of hardware and software, and perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • They will also monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels, ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions, and conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of systems administration and systems architecture.
Certifications:
  • IAT Level II certification is required.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE is also highly desirable.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 19 years of experience in a related field, with a high school diploma or equivalent, or a bachelor's degree with at least 14 years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance:
  • A Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Facility Security Clearance is required.
