Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

Position Description:

As a senior IT infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for designing and defining system architecture for new or existing computer systems. You will maintain an organization's computer systems' workflows and ensure the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.

You will provide technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures. You will troubleshoot moderately complex system hardware and software issues, train end users on the proper use of hardware and software, and perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.

You will monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels, ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions, and ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.

Additionally, you will conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

  • Systems Architecture
Certifications:
  • IAT Level II certification required
  • CompTIA Security+ CE
Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent + 19 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree + 14 years of experience

Clearance Required:

Top Secret/SCI Facility security clearance
