Civil Estimator/Bid Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Estimator/Bid Manager to join our team in Perth, WA. As a key member of our Western Australia stabilisation business, you will be responsible for leading the front-end procurement of projects, managing project estimations, and overseeing tender processes.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate from first principles using SPA and external software tools
- Manage RFP and tender preparation and submission
- Provide variation and price change management to project delivery teams
- Review SOR panel rates and apply rise and fall adjustments
- Contribute to weekly and monthly business reporting
- Maintain CRM databases and contribute to strategic management decisions
- Provide assistance to the Major Projects team
- Develop and maintain industry relationships
- Manage HR responsibilities, including staff training, performance management, and recruitment
To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience in civil pavement and earthworks construction, preferably in WA. Proficiency in civil estimating software and Microsoft programs, along with a strong understanding of civil specifications and contract law, is also required.
We highly value leadership experience in a senior role, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong client management experience, collaborative teamwork and project leadership skills, and a high degree of maturity and emotional intelligence.
