Job Title: Mental Health Therapist
\This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in providing high-quality, trauma-informed clinical services to young people and their families.
\As a mental health professional in CAMHS, your primary responsibility will be to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are tailored to the specific mental health needs of young people with a strong emphasis on recovery.
\You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic care that is trauma-informed, recovery-focused, and family-inclusive.
\Your role will involve a combination of case management, crisis intervention, and clinical assessment ensuring timely access to care for young people.
\Key to this role is working closely with families and carers, ensuring they are included in assessments, care plans, and reviews wherever appropriate.
\Liaising with a range of agencies such as local mental health units and community-managed organizations will be a key part of the role to ensure continuity of care and effective collaboration.
\Additionally, you will participate in case conferences and team meetings, providing expertise and support to other professionals involved in the care of young people.
\It is essential to maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely documentation in line with confidentiality requirements and legal standards, ensuring all interactions with clients and families are well-documented.
\You must adhere to the principles of the Privacy Act and obtain appropriate consent for information exchange.
