Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert, evidence-based occupational therapy to individuals experiencing mental health crises, providing timely and person-centred interventions that promote recovery and wellbeing.
  • Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff and support ongoing professional development.
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, integrated, high-quality care.
  • Lead and contribute to quality improvement projects and research initiatives to shape the service.
  • Tailor approaches to meet complex and diverse client needs, grounded in best practice.
  • Based at Gosford Hospital with Monday to Friday 08:30am–5:00pm schedule.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Broad generalist and/or specialist OT knowledge.
  • Unencumbered driver's license and ability to travel across the District and external sites as required.
  • Confident in managing complex cases using advanced clinical reasoning and independent judgment.
  • Committed to continuous improvement through quality initiatives and research involvement.
