Expert Mental Health Therapist

The Occupational Therapist Level 3 will be responsible for delivering expert occupational therapy services to individuals experiencing mental health crises. This includes providing timely and person-centred interventions that promote recovery and wellbeing.
This role involves clinical supervision, guidance, and mentorship of junior staff to support their professional development. The successful candidate will also engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and contribute to quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert occupational therapy services to individuals with mental health needs.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff.
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects and research initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Ability to travel across the district and external sites as required.
Working Arrangements:
- Monday to Friday schedule.
- Based at Gosford Hospital.
