Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the complex personal security clearance processes across various levels.

The ideal candidate will have extensive vetting experience in high-security environments, with a minimum Negative Vetting Level 1 and the opportunity to upgrade as required.

This role requires strong leadership skills, including mentoring and leading a team of security analysts.

The successful candidate will also possess attention to detail, quality assurance, and adherence to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to PSPF and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files ensuring alignment with standard procedures and PSPF.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and senior team members for efficient caseload management and execution.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
  • Leadership: Experience in leading teams with the drive to mentor and lead a team of enthusiastic security analysts.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous scrutiny of extensive data and identification of potential security risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Firm commitment to uphold high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation, strictly adhering to PSPF.
