The role of a Senior Mechanical Engineer involves collaborating with asset owners to identify and troubleshoot plant and process problems, ensuring maximum availability. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in complex processing plants and project engineering.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with asset owners to identify and prevent plant and process problems
  • Supporting project teams as an owner's Mechanical engineering advisor
  • Conducting Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments for Pipes, Tanks and Pressure Vessels
  • Ensuring work output complies with engineering standards and regulatory requirements
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A team player attitude with a willingness to help others
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, recognized by Engineers Australia
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 4 years in a complex processing plant
  • A variety of engineering background with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
