Job Opportunity: Mechanical Engineer for Plant Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our plant operations. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for collaborating with asset owners to identify, prevent and troubleshoot plant and process problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with asset owners to identify, prevent and troubleshoot plant and process problems
  • Provide technical governance and support to MMO Operations
  • Conduct Fitness for Service assessments for Pipes, Tanks and Pressure Vessels
  • Ensure work output complies with engineering standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a complex processing plant environment with at least 4 years in a senior role
  • Varying engineering background with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Experience working in maintenance engineering highly regarded
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-driven
  • Familiarity with WA Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations
