Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our operations in Newcastle. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our seed processing facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving mechanical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve optimal plant performance.

  • Hold a trade qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing and process environments, particularly food and beverage, is highly desirable.
  • Basic computer literacy is required, with proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.

Other Requirements

As part of this role, you will also be required to:

  • Obtain a forklift and elevated work platform operator certificate of competency within 3 months of appointment.
  • Work a 7-3-5 roster, supporting operation breakdown maintenance and asset health for plant equipment, systems, and structures.
